Sara is a theatre and performance designer. Having trained at 'The Central School of Speech and Drama', Sara takes a sculptural approach to design, drawing inspiration from installation, contemporary art and film.Since graduating Sara has designed for a number of venue's including the Lyric Hammersmith, Battersea arts centre and the Minack Theatre as well as a number of smaller venues including The Old Red Lion Theatre and Shunt Vaults. She has experience working in site specific and devised theatre, new writing and childrens theatre. Sara has the ability to come up with designs that are earthy and grounded, yet possess a new and exciting edge. A great collaborator and model maker Sara's real hands on approach to design gives her the ability to transform design elements to fit the world of a piece. Sara possesses a great creative vision and creates designs that have a real prescence.Skills include photoshop, vectorworks, AutoCAD, and model making. 'Sara's work ethic, dedication, immense creative talent is impressive, and we, and our Director Heather Davies (RSC & PROPELLER) will certainy be calling on her in the future.'
